These AKC purebred German Shepherd puppies were born on August 31st. There are 4 females and 1 male! These puppies come from OFA Excellent and good bloodlines. I breed for great temperament, excellent hips, intelligence and health. We got the mother (Sedona) from Idaho. The father (Nickel-las) is in Queen Creek. Both parents have champion/schitzhund bloodlines and a great temperment. 4 of the puppies are going to be a rare light sable like their mother and one is going to be black and red like their father. This is Sedona's first litter and she is a very good mother.
My mother has been breeding German Shepherds for 19 years. I have been there through it all, the breeding, pregnancy, whelping, nursing and playing with the puppies up until they were taken to new loving homes. I grew up with Sedona's Great Grandmother, grandmother, and her mother! I have done obedience and showmanship training with Sedona's mother and entered her into the fair and received ribbons for her. I wanted a puppy of my own for a long time. And After a long wait, I chose Sedona out of one of my mom?s litters on Christmas Eve of 2009. Now she is almost 3 and this is my very own first litter of puppies. I have had the opportunity to work at Homestead Animal Clinic here in Mesa with Dr. Hunt for a year and a half and gained even more experience working with dogs!
I love these dogs so much! They are loyal companions as well as guard dogs. Previous litters have been used for both pets, as-well-as working dogs (police). By the time these puppies are ready to go, they will be paper trained.
